Fortuner– Style Plays Rough

The second generation Toyota Fortuner, one of the most popular seven-seat SUVs for families is now available in the UAE.

A total external and internal redesign gives the new Fortuner a more distinctive, sleek and powerful personal along with better driving dynamics and fuel consumption. Longer, wider and lower than its predecessor, its restyled front is dominated by a large, slanted upper grille, framed by thick chrome plating that extends around the bi-beam LED headlamps with integrated day-time running lights. Most of you would have seen the bold and rough new Fortuner at the launch event earlier this year.

The upgraded interior remains practical whilst creating a more luxurious feel and the Fortuner is powered by a 2.7 litre four cylinder engine with 164bhp, or a 4.0-litre V6 with 235bhp.

During the Dubai launch, Saud Abbasi, Managing Director – Toyota, Al-Futtaim Motors said: “With these new enhancements we believe the car will continue to appeal to families, and we will also see increased interest among young Emiratis and Westerners looking for a strong SUV that combines unbeatable off-road capabilities with a premium looking interior.”
