With striking new design details and a comprehensive list of equipment upgrades, the new Land Cruiser Grand Touring Edition brings the king’s indomitable spirit to the city streets
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, October, 2018: Having firmly positioned itself as the King of the Desert with bullet-proof reliability and exceptional off-road abilities, the Toyota Land Cruiser also dominates the concrete jungle, as the 2019line-up sees the introduction of the ultimate urban-spec SUV, the Grand Touring edition (GT) that comes with a host of features, designed to make city driving even more fulfilling than ever before.
Adding to the existing line-up of the entry level EXR, GXR and top-of-the-line VXR, the new GT edition, available exclusively in the GXR grade with a 4.0-litre V6 or a 4.6-litre V8 engines, introduces a variety of features that underscore its urban-biased personality.
The front grille, enjoys a sleeker three-bar appearance, while the new front and rear bumpers are punctuated by new sequential light indicators. The updated rounded off exclusive smoked headlamps give the GT a menacing appearance, bound to turn heads on the road. At the rear, the sporty, urban look is completed with an integrated roof spoiler.
The GT also comes with 20-inch alloy wheels, chrome package, powered tailgate, integrated roof rails and sunroof as standard. The modern interior offers motorists a host of modern conveniences including Optitron speedometer with a 4.2-inch TFT display and steering-wheel controls, brand new 10-inch infotainment display with audio / DVD / AUX / Bluetooth connectivity, and more.
