Al-Futtaim Toyota is proud to be the Automotive Partner of the legendary Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge (ADDC).
Formerly known as the UAE Desert Challenge, this is one of the world’s most prestigious international cross-country rallies founded by Emirati motorsport legend, former Emirates Motorsports Organization (EMSO) President and the new FIA President, Mohammed Ben Sulayem in 1991.
The 32nd edition of the challenge was bigger and better as part of the second round of the FIA and FIM World Rally-Raid Championship. The formidable route kicked-off in the heart of the vibrant city of Abu Dhabi, where motorsport fans experienced the racing spirit of the Middle East.
The Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge was conducted between Feb 25 - Mar 03, 2023, and kicked off from Madinat Zayed, Abu Dhabi
Winner
In T1, Yazeed Al Rajhi started the final stage 10’27” ahead of Martin Prokop in the overall standings, and went on to win the overall race, bringing Toyota its third crown here after wins in 2016 and 2021.
Emirates Motor Sports Organisation (EMSO) President, H.E. Khalid Ben Sulayem,
applauded everyone who took part in the challenge while thanking everyone else who helped it grow. The great success of this event proved to be phenomenal for its global awareness.
